Having set the new standard for powerful, compact, yet immensely portable bass amps, Ashdowns All Access Bass Series has just produced a new baby the Perfect Ten MiniRig. Based on the amplifier design of the award winning Perfect Ten combo but sporting a more powerful 65 Watt output the Perfect Ten head is partnered by two 10 in. cabinets, making the combined rig a true miniature powerhouse. Feature: plugged it in, and away I went.
Quality: Seems to be made real well.
Value: Oh, at the around 200 I paid, im callin' all my bass playin friends, and tellin' them to pick one up.
Desirability: looks good.... (though the head is a bit large)
Sound: what a grate little amp.... I was getting a bit tired of hauling my tnt160's around.... especially to a practice... I look around at such things as the Ashdown five-fifteen, and, though it seemed great, I felt as though I would still be hulling something. I figured id try the cl210, especially for the size, and the price. this thing just sounds wonderful, even with my 5 string.... its really clear, and rather punchy, and the 65 w is enough (I certainly hope) for nights in the practice room.... I very neat looking, wonderful sounding, and seemingly well built piece of gear.... glad I added it to my collection.
Ease of Use: can't be much more simple
Support: have not..... id have to imagine, being across the big pond, it won't be all that easy... Just hope I don’t have to.
Overall: bassed (pun intended) on the sound, I will have to give some serious consideration to Ashdown , in the near future.
